Imagine being at home, watching tv at late night, surfing through unbelievable things just to be entertained to oblivion. Then, between a diamond sale and some animal documentary from the seventies, you stumble upon some hong kong thing ; you know the deal ; flying invisible ninjas and people screaming out their kyai, roofs falling down. If a music is to be heard at some point, it's exactly the one that is to be heard on this disc - only through today sound and computers. I hope Paolo would forgive me for writing this, but that's exactly the impression that me and Laura got by listening to this, over lunch - that means, almost ambient textures with an overall oriental feeling, scattered beats and trademark bursts, so that we wished to start a coreography fight with our dogs :-) That means : ideal to be listened at sunset, preferably looking at a red-lit sky [and you could also lie down, and imagine Van Damme doing his kata against the thailand dusk :-] , and another brick in Veneziani's history.
